Homework folders will NOT go home this week! Our letters this week are Dd and Kk; our new sight words - see, look; and our theme is Polar Animals. Although folders are not going home, please continue to work at home with your child on the skills we are doing in class.
Some ideas you can do include: practice writing the letters of the week, look for sight words in magazines and books, draw pictures of things that begin with the /d/ and /k/ sounds, and talk about the different kinds of animals that are classified as "polar animals."
In addition.... you can always work with your child on rhyming words, counting aloud to 100, your address/phone number, and writing their last name.
