We are starting our "Apple" theme this week! This is one of my favorite themes, we do during the school year. We will use apples to measure items; have an "Apple Market" in the home-living area so we can buy and sell apples; use apples in a variety of patterning activites; taste a variety of apples and apple products; learn about the folklore of "Johnny Appleseed" and cook cinnamon apples.....just to name a few. :)
It is going to be an exciting two-week theme! I hope to post pictures soon of our apple fun!
Other ideas we will be working on this week include: review of sight words I, am; letter recognition of Ff - Nn; and the color RED.
