Catching Up... Rocks and Minerals

Ok, so since I have been behind on updating the blog - I will post pics of what we have been doing in our classroom over the past few months.  We are currently preparing for state testing, which occurs the first part of April, so our "extra" activities will not happen as often.  :-) 

Here are some pictures of our Science unit Rocks and Minerals.  Students used magnifying glasses to observe and record the properties of rocks and minerals.  They worked independently and in small groups to identify the different rocks and minerals.
