In case you haven't noticed, I have not been too efficient on updating this blog for this school year. I think about posting new ideas and activities, but that is about as far as I get... thinking about it. I really need to work on that. Trying to adjust to a new grade level, new curriculum, manage a family and attend grad school all at the same time takes some juggling. So needless to say, the blog has been neglected. :-( Which is sad, because I really enjoy updating and letting others know what we are doing in our class. I am going to try to work on getting into a routine to update this blog. Notice, I said try.
We recently started our Plants/Bees unit in our Science curriculum, and we have diligently been observing and measuring the growth of our plants. My plan is to take a few pics and post them as soon as I can. Today, we made our first visit to the Multi-Arts museum, and the kids seemed to have a wonderful time. I look forward to going back next month. Maybe next time, I will remember to take pics.... since I forgot today. :-/
It is Winter, so that means a lot of inside recess days (because of the cold), and working more on test prep for Spring State assessments. It will be a new adventure for me. Wish me (us) luck! :-)
