Hip, Hip, Hooray!!! We celebrated the 100th Day!!!

This past week, we celebrated the 100th day of school!  It was SO much fun working with the number 100!  Here are a few of the activities we did throughout the day!

This was how our day began, with our door welcoming us to the 100th day of school!  (Yes. The sign says "ho-ray" instead of "hoo-ray"  One 'o' had fallen off... don't worry.  I fixed it!)  :-)

We colored in a hundreds chart using an ABC pattern....

Made a 100th day necklace, and added 100 stars

Built with 100 blocks

"100 Days Smarter" headband

100 paint dots

Played with LOTS of balloons.... I didn't quite make it to 100.  I think I  (and my dear husband) stopped at 63... :-)

Our snack made with 100 items (10 each of cheerios, fruit loops, raisins, marshmallows, pretzels, chocolate chips, m&m's, skittles, Coco Puffs, and goldfish)  They did an AWESOME job at waiting their turn, and passing the cups around!  I am SO proud!

Our finished product!!!  :-)

After lunch, we started with a hundreds board, and had to find all the hidden Hershey kisses around the room.  Each kiss had a number on the bottom, that the student had to match up to it's spot on the hundreds chart.  The kids LOVED this!!

#60.... was never found.  (And I STILL haven't found it!)  I know it was there, because I put the stickers on all of them, who knows where it went????  :-)

Then we used our mats from the snack activity to count out 100 LEGOS.  After we had them counted, each group was to build a "structure" using all of the 100 legos.  These are our creations....

Then we ended our 100th day celebration with ICE CREAM cones!!!  YAY!!!

It was a GREAT day in Kindergarten!  :-)
