We read farm books; made butter;
tasted and graphed our favorite flavor of milk; and talked about a variety of animals that live on a farm. Our letter of the week was Gg, we reviewed our list of sight words, counted to 100 by 5's and 10's, read the book "Piggies" by Don and Audrey Wood, then made adorable "Piggies" art using our hands and fingers.
We ended the week with a visit of live, baby farm animals to the school. Our class had the opportunity to learn about and see up close: a baby duck and chick,
2 baby lambs and pigs,
and a baby calf. (Look at him stick his tongue out at us!) :)
Our class did a great job at listening while the speakers talked to us about the animals. :)
Thank you to Megan and Kyle for bringing these animals to us! Our class had SO much fun!
