Gingerbread and the Letter Ii

Our letter this week was Ii.  We worked with the long /i/ sound (ice) and the short /i/ sound (igloo). 
We read a variety of Gingerbread books; tasted gingerbread cookies; explored and created gingerbread men with gingerbread playdough; and created gingerbread men art projects.
