I would like to thank everyone who sent their condolences and thoughts out to me and my family last week. My grandfather's health had been deteriorating for some time, but you are never ready when a loved one is taken from you. Thank you for being so understanding and flexible during my absence last week.
Because I was out all last week, we will be spending the first part of this week reviewing the concepts that were taught while I was out of the classroom. In addition, we will be starting the letter Cc and the /k/ sound this week; reviewing the sight words we have introduced up to this point; the color brown; the shape of a triangle; and working on art projects for Thanksgiving.
The papers your child has completed during the past 2 weeks, have been "stamped" and put in their cubby.
Just a reminder, there is NO SCHOOL next week! Enjoy the Thanksgiving Break!
