It's Gingerbread Time....

This past week, we started our seasonal activities with Gingerbread.  We enjoyed making gingerbread cookies in home-living with gingerbread scented playdough; read a variety of gingerbread stories; created gingerbread art for the hallway; and worked on math skills (using the SMARTboard) with gingerbread shapes. 

We also have been working on our list of 17 sight words, counting to 30, and letter/sound recognition.  This past week our focus has been on the letter Rr.  Thank you to everyone who has helped with Wish List items for our class.  We appreciate it! 

Next week we work with the letter Dd and continue with our Holiday theme!
