During the past two weeks, our theme has been "In the Woods." The kids really enjoyed learning about the different animals that live in the forest, the meaning of the word "nocturnal", and the things you need if you go camping in the woods.
The home-living area was equipped with a tent, sleeping bag, compass, binoculars, and even a campfire. :)
And, what's the favorite part about camping? S'mores! Of course. Although we couldn't actually roast them on a real campfire in the classroom, we did make them using the microwave and had a lot of fun! 
Our raccoon and owl art projects turned out great!
